Bin cleaning policy

Service dates and route changes
  • Your requested cleaning date is subject to WWR confirmation, trash collection, and route availability.
  • An existing route—or a route established later—may require a different service date. WWR will notify you before the change and confirm the revised date.
  • Cleaning normally occurs within 24 hours after trash pickup. If routing requires another window, WWR will explain and confirm it before the affected visit.
  • WWR will confirm the visit date and when your bins must be ready. A requested date alone does not confirm an appointment.
  • WWR date changes carry no return fee. If our change prevents you from meeting the normal notice deadline, contact us promptly before arrival to arrange an alternative at no charge.
Empty bins, curbside or out front
  • Bins must be placed curbside or out front, clearly visible and easily accessible from the street.
  • Our crew will not enter backyards or walk around your property to locate bins.
  • Your bins must be empty when we arrive.
  • If a bin contains trash, including bags of trash, we will not wash it.
Planned rescheduling
  • For free rescheduling of a planned change, contact us during business hours and by 6 p.m. Central Time on the day before your scheduled cleaning.
  • Our contact hours are 9 a.m.–6 p.m. Central Time every day.
  • Late or missing notice is treated as a customer-caused missed visit, except for verified hauler fault as described below.
Unexpected hauler delays
  • If your trash hauler unexpectedly misses or delays collection, contact us as soon as you discover the problem and before our arrival whenever possible.
  • Provide proof that the delay was caused by the hauler, such as a hauler or municipality service notice, a dated message from the hauler, or other verifiable confirmation.
  • Email your proof to waterworksrevival@gmail.com.
  • A verified hauler-caused delay qualifies for free rescheduling even if reported after the usual day-before deadline.
  • This exception does not cover bins that the customer failed to put out for collection or that the hauler rejected because of customer preparation.
  • We will confirm a revised cleaning date.
  • A paid cleaning remains owed. Company-caused and verified hauler delays retain their free-rescheduling protections and do not force an extra paid month solely to complete an owed visit.
Missed or partial service — $20 return visits
  • Bins must be empty and accessible in the agreed curbside or front location. WWR will clean the bins that are ready. If none are ready, the visit is treated as missed.
  • For customer-caused missed or partial service, the original scheduled charge remains due and is not reduced for uncleaned bins.
  • A return visit costs an additional $20 per visit, covering the originally included bins that were not cleaned at the same address. There is no additional base cleaning charge. New or additional bins require a separate agreed price.
  • This rule applies to regular monthly cleanings, the initial monthly revival, and one-time service.
  • Monthly service, including the initial revival: the return must be arranged and completed within the current billing period, before the next billing date.
  • One-time service: the return must be arranged and completed within 30 calendar days of the original scheduled date.
  • Returns depend on route availability. Contact WWR promptly; WWR must confirm the return date and fee before booking.
  • Unused cleaning from a customer-caused miss or partial visit expires when that window ends. It does not roll over, and no refund is due for unused service.
  • A customer-caused missed or partial monthly visit counts as that billing period's service and, during the initial commitment, toward the minimum. A return does not count as an additional monthly service toward that minimum.
  • WWR-caused postponements, unsafe weather, and verified hauler fault retain their separate free-rescheduling protections. Planned changes reported during business hours by 6 p.m. Central the day before the confirmed visit remain eligible for free rescheduling.
Weather delays
  • If Water Works Revival postpones cleaning because of unsafe weather, we will reschedule at no extra charge for the next available visit once conditions are safe and trash pickup is complete.
  • We will contact you with a revised cleaning date.
  • A paid cleaning remains owed.
Safe access and eligible bins
  • Bins must be empty, curbside or out front, visible from the street, and safely accessible.
  • Keep the cleaning area clear of vehicles, locked gates, loose or aggressive animals, and other obstructions.
  • Ordinary residue and buildup are included in cleaning; removal or disposal of trash is not.
  • We cannot clean bins containing hazardous or unsuitable material, including chemicals, paint, petroleum products, needles or other sharps, hot ashes, construction debris, or loose animal waste.
  • We may decline bins that are cracked, unstable, or unsafe to lift or clean.
  • Oversized or nonstandard bins require approval before booking.
  • Customer-controlled preparation or access problems fall under our missed-visit or partial-service policy.
  • Weather, equipment problems, or our inability to service a bin type we previously approved will not be treated as customer-caused missed visits.
  • We will explain any refusal and may document the condition with photos.
Cleaning results, existing damage, and service concerns
  • Cleaning removes ordinary dirt and buildup and helps control odors.
  • Results depend on the bin’s condition.
  • Permanent stains, faded plastic, embedded material, and some odors may remain.
  • Cleaning does not repair existing damage or guarantee a like-new appearance, complete germ elimination, or permanent odor removal.
  • Please report cleaning concerns within 48 hours of service, preferably before reusing the bin.
  • Photos are helpful but are not required.
  • We will review the concern and provide a free corrective cleaning when the problem resulted from our service.
  • If corrective cleaning cannot reasonably resolve it, we will offer an appropriate credit or refund for the affected service.
  • Report suspected bin or property damage promptly so we can investigate.
  • We will distinguish existing damage from damage caused during our work.
  • The 48-hour cleaning-concern window does not waive legal rights or automatically exclude damage discovered later.
Company interruptions and prolonged delays
  • Unsafe weather, equipment breakdowns, staffing emergencies, holidays, or route disruptions may require us to change a scheduled visit.
  • We will notify you as soon as reasonably possible and arrange a replacement at no additional charge.
  • Company-caused postponements do not count as completed service; paid, undelivered cleaning remains owed under these protections.
  • If a paid cleaning remains undelivered 30 calendar days after its original scheduled date, you may choose a credit or refund for that cleaning.
  • During a prolonged interruption that prevents monthly service, we will pause further monthly billing until service can resume and we confirm the revised schedule with you.
  • If we permanently stop serving your address, we will refund unused payments for undelivered service.
  • No early-cancellation charge or 30-day notice will be required when we end service.
  • Customer-caused misses and partial service remain governed by their separate policies.
